The project which is worth £1.8 million is an exciting contract for us and for the area.
The new building will consist of two ground floor retail units ( which are to be occupied by Sainsbury’s & Gregg’s ), with two floors of student accommodation built over. In addition the ground floor will also house a new electrical sub-station. One of the apartments will be fully accessible to cater for disabled students.
Due to complete in December 2017, the development will feature six self-contained student flats which will each sleep three students.

Work on the contract will be carried out over a 46 week period and should provide minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
