About us

J3 Building Solutions is a leading Commercial, Industrial & Residential Building/Construction Company established in 1986. We are highly experienced in all aspects of the General Building Industry and have built a reputation based on quality and service.

Dedicated Workforce

We have a well established and dedicated workforce, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. All of the relevant building trades are covered by our in-house workforce but we also draw on an established pool of sub-contractors whom we have utilised successfully for many years. We operate as a team, working and interacting together to produce a high quality end product.

We are based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and operate both Regionally & Nationally within the UK.


Project Management

Our Project Management Team is led by our Projects Director Bryan Watson, who has over 30 years’ experience in the General Building Industry and has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the company, interfacing with clients and consultants, contract procurement and contract planning.

All site activities are directly supported by our Contracts Manager, Paul Delaney, who has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

Tender preparation and cost control is managed by our Senior Quantity Surveyor, Leigh Smith, who has over 25 years experience in this role.


Designated Site Manager

We will generally have several projects running simultaneously. Each operating site is controlled by a designated Site Manager who is responsible for all aspects of contract execution. Each Site Manager has the full support of the Project Management Team. This, together with well established office and on-site procedures, combined with an ethos of communication and forward planning, ensures that each project is completed successfully, within budget and within the stipulated time frame.

We typically work on contracts with a value range of £500,000 – £3,000,000.


Health & Safety

The Health & Safety of our workforce, clients and clients’ representatives is of paramount importance and our entire operation is controlled by strict adherence to our Health and Safety Policy.

We are CHAS Accredited Contractors and all of our workforce are members of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and hold CSCS cards relevant to their experience and skills.

All Site Managers have as a minimum achieved SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) status and all sites are attended by a fully qualified first aider. Click here to view our health and safety policy.
